We’re so excited about our partnership with the stunning Cielo Estate in Shingle Springs. Recently we had the honor of attending a bridal dinner and wine event where we met beautiful brides- and grooms-to-be. Krislyn and Dave were the first couple to introduce themselves to us and yesterday we spent the afternoon capturing their little love affair in this fun engagement session. Congratulations to the two of you, you will be AMAZING on your wedding day!

We’ve had the best time this year with all the senior guys coming out to play! This week we met senior Brock Wilson out in Folsom with his amazing stylist / aka Mom. And lucky for us, his Dad joined us half way through as well. Loving the parental participation! Brock is this easy going, subtly funny guy with the ease of a model in front of the camera and the smile of a confident and happy young man. Thanks for the laughs and for bringing out the best in us! A couple years ago we took senior beauty, Timery Mueller, out for a fun Senior Experience session. And it hailed and rained and we froze… it was crazy! But we all had a blast and no one could tell from her calm and collected look that just hours later it would snow all over the area where we shot. This year her brother Shay joined us for the fun. And it was a beautiful, warm, crazy February day. No one can predict the weather so we’re so happy you all just come out and make the most of all nature has to offer for these sessions. I know. We need rain. We will all complain this next hot summer without water. And all those season ski passes just going to waste. But we’re looking at the silver lining. The positive spin. The blessings in disguise. Whatever, we get to shoot pictures! Lucky for High School senior Jensen (by the way, LOVE the name and wish I thought of it first!), we had perfect weather, gorgeous lighting, and pretty green leaves all around. Meet basketball star and loving babysitter and friend: Jensen. Congratulations!

We had such a great time at this wedding on 9/11, the 10 year anniversary of the tragedy at the World Trade Center in NY. This ceremony was such a beautiful, God-centered celebration of love, family, beauty and all that is wonderful and full of joy. We were guests at this wedding and were so happy to have been given permission to shoot along the sidelines. What an amazing couple. We love you both and are blessed to be a part of your family!
