If money were no object, I’d move to the beach tomorrow. But only if my husband and kids could come too. I just really love it there. I do. I love the sand. I love the blue skies against the blue water. And I love the light bouncing all over the sand, sky and water. It’s so beautiful!!
We had the wonderful experience of shooting senior pictures out on the beach this week in San Francisco. It’s one of those full circle moments where you realize how small the world really is, and then just how old I have become… this high school senior is the daughter of my childhood friend! We were seniors together not that long ago… and now 20 years later, we came together to share in her daughter’s senior portrait session. We had a great day watching her dance with her father on the beach (tough to get a solid grip on pointe when the sand is moving all around your toes!) and laughing with her as we showed off our Tyra walks for all the beach guests that day.
Here’s Kirsten. She is amazing. She’s a finely trained dancer since the age of 3 and now is preparing for college to advance her education and training in dance and the arts. She’s charming, she is really funny and well, just look at her… she’s precious!

Makes ya just wanna run out and buy yourself a tutu and dance on the beach! Congratulations, Kirsten. What a joy it was to spend the day with you!
